It is reassuring to imagine that no matter what America chooses to do we are like little ants next to the vastness of the Western Parks. During a recent trip to California I had the great pleasure to go to Kings Canyon Park and the Sequoias National Park. Whereas the sequoias have the show stopper trees, both wide and high, King's Canyon has the wilderness feel and the stupendous natural beauty of just Being. Not too crowded on the week following Memorial Day it was a time for absorbtion and reflection.
